S – Nice line - got it!

L – Cut left corner of the mound, stopped at the road for a loop and crossed it then got his bird.

L – Under the arc, curved left and worked to his bird.

RR – Got to the fall area, started to hunt a little short, but stayed tight and quickly got it!

S – Straight into the water and snatched it up!

L – Entered the 2nd pond on the right line, exited the pond and drove deep and left of the gunners. Moved right quickly and got the bird.

LL – Into the 1st pond, over the point, back in and out again, up to the dam, around the 2nd pond and straight to the bird.

R – Excellent mark, came in a little left and straight to the tree and the bird.

LL – Got in right of the hay bale, drove the field, through the cover and missed, turned and went back in for the bird.

Monster splash as he hit the water, to the right side of the bushes, stopped short for 1 turn and then left and right til he dug into the thick cover to get his bird!

1992. But there was a 15 year hiatus in there!

What made you decide to compete in Field Trials? 

I saw a dog sit and deliver to hand and I thought that was the coolest thing ever!

Who are your training partners at home? 

Primarily it’s just my wife and myself.

What is the origin of your dog’s name? 

Named after John Prine, my favorite songwriter of all time.
