F – Snagged it!

LL – Swam over the middle of the point, into the far corner of the pond, over the dam, made a hard right, ran down to the bird - She knew where it was!

L – Left side of the road into the fall area and got it

R – Under the arc for large loop deep right, then deeper and back in for her bird.

R – Under the arc, got deep, hunted the tree line, down to the bird and got it

LL – Great angle across the pond, under the arc, sharp right and into cover for her bird!

What made you decide to compete in Field Trials? 
I have previously been involved in AKC hunt tests, and I like the challenge more in field trials.

Who are your training partners at home? 
Dave Ward

What is the origin of your dog’s name? 
She has always been an excellent marker, hence the “True to the Mark.”

Tell us an interesting story about your dog.
We decided to keep her out of the litter we whelped because of her tenacity from the get-go. She was the runt, but always found her way.

You and your dog have survived nine series of the National Derby Championship. You are about to come to the line for the 10th series with a chance to be crowned the 2022 National Derby Champion. What song and artist would you want to hear playing as the two of you come to the line?
