S – Ran straight to the bird!

L –  Ran straight to the 2nd pond and got smack in the center, then got out on the far side and broke down, reoriented himself and went on up the hill and got his bird.

F – Went wide right and deep, hunted around the small trees and then moved out and got it.

LL – Went over the dam left into the water, got out on the far end and went to his bird.

F – Had to hunt (the glare is getting really bad) but he was persistent and got it!

LL – Across the field, into the pond, on the far right end of the point, swam, then up the dam, took a hard right and ran to the fall area, 1 loop under the arc, turned and he got it!

L – Down left then right side crossed back left straight to the bird

R – Came in on the left side, got a little deep, quickly back to his bird.

Paul and Chris came to the line again to rerun at 10:32 am

R – Stepped on it!

LL – Great angle across the pond towards the bird, went left of the guns instead of right ... turned back right, into the cover and got his bird.

L – Over the mound, wide right of the cedars, turned back right for a loop back in to the trees, missed it and looped left. Got deep right and worked around the cedars. He then worked it out and got his bird.

Paul began working for Andy Attar in 1996.

What made you decide to compete in Field Trials? 

I loved training the dogs to a high level and that got me in. 

Who are your training partners at home? 

Tera and I are training partners.

What is the origin of your dog’s name? 

Chris was born on Columbus Day … And we always dream about our next travels 

Tell us an interesting story about your dog.

Chris’ favorite activities are pheasant hunting and morning cuddle time.
