David and Angus came to the line at 5:42 pm
S – Into the pond and he got it!
L – Rand to the 2nd pond and kept running up the hill right to the bird!
Beth and Traeger came to the line ...
S – In to pond one and straight to the bird.
L – Rand to the 2nd pond and got in the left side, drove the hill on an angle, under the arc, 1 loop deep and then back to the bird.
Joey and Sniper came to the line at 5:31 pm
S – Into the pond, squared the shore, had a few turns on the shore and then back in for the bird.
L – Great line and then at the last minute veered left and and came out left of the guns, hunted deep, and back to the trees and then his bird.
Marc and Fidi came to the line at 5:25 pm
S – Into the pond, squared out by the guns, 2 loops on land back in 4 the bird.
L – Excellent line into the middle of pond 2, out and across the hill to hook behind the guns, moved right and then down to the trees and the bird.
Richard and Yogi came to the line at 5:19 pm
S – Yogi entered the pond on the right side, goes up the hill for a small loop and came down to grab his bird.
L – Yogi leaves the line and enters the corner of the first pond, kept going and runs up the right side of the 2nd pond to get his bird.
Jeff and Prine came to the line at 5:12 pm
S – Straight into the water and snatched it up!
L – Entered the 2nd pond on the right line, exited the pond and drove deep and left of the gunners. Moved right quickly and got the bird.
Jason and Pow came back to the line at 5:06 pm
S – Big stylish launch into the pond, under the arc and turned right along the shore to grab her bird.
L – Across the field entering the pond on the left side, angling up the hill just in front of the gunners, veering right to wind the bird.
Rick and Bruno came to the line...
S – Down and into the pond - BOOM! Got it!
L – Drove towards the 2nd pond, swam across to the middle and out, ran straight to the bird. Beautiful mark!
Mitch and Rizz came to the line at 4:55 pm
S – Into the pond, turned and missed, got out quickly turned back to the water and scooped it up!
L – Ran towards the 2nd pond, skirted on the left, headed straight up the hill under the arc, around the trees and straight to the bird!
Ray and Mikey came to the line at 4:49 pm
S – Drove hard into the pond, got out, turned quick and snatched up his bird on re-entry!
L – Out across the field to the 2nd pond, Excellent line out of the water, up under the arc, turned and came through the trees to his bird.
Jory and Mookie came to the line at 4:45 pm
S – Lines into the pond, exits the pond right of the bird, makes a couple passes deep and along the fence before coming down to his bird.
L – Mookie dove into the 1st pond and then circled around the cedar trees at the short bird area. He headed up the hill to the right side of the mark, turned left and has his bird.
Al and Halo came back to the line at 4:38 pm
S – Halo is off and diving into the pond, under the arc, turned right as he moves across the hill, then came down to his bird.
L – Entered the pond on the left side, came out of the pond on the left and breaks in front of the gunners, going just deep of the bird and hooking around to scoop it up.
Jason and Pow came to the line at 4:37 pm and received a No-Bird

Reid and Steal came to the line at 4:32 pm
S – Down in to the pond and out back for the bird.
L – Ran up the left side of the field behind the guns, rounded around to the trees, came down and got his bird.
Jeff and Riley came to the line at 4:26 pm
S – Plowed into the pond, and then out on the right end, 1 loop deep then back to the pond for his bird.
L – Ran to the 2nd pond and skimmed around the left side up under the arc, turned right and came back down to the trees and his bird.
Marc and Storm came to the line at 4:22 pm
S – Down the field on a nice angle, squared the pond but came out a little deep, and then back to the bird.
L – Ran hard to the 2nd pond, skirted the left edge and ran straight on up the hill to his bird.
Tracey and Dagger came to the line ...
S – Dagger's off and into the pond! He went right to his bird!
L – Driving up the field and veering left of the pond, the dog popped left of the pond and had to be handled to the bird. Picked Up.
Al and Halo came to the line at 4:14 pm and had a no bird
S – No Bird

James and Babe came to the line at 4:09 pm
S – Into the water turning towards the gunner, then behind the cedars, popping out on the left side, turned back right to catch the scent and then down to her bird.
L – Big send across the field, just missing the water on the left side, up the hill under the arc and over to her bird.
Travis and Otis came to the line...
S – Went wide right, got out on the far end, made a short loop, turned quickly back to the water and got it!
L – Drove to the 2nd pond, swam across to the far left end, drove up under the arc, worked his way back down to the bird.
Paul and Chris came to the line at 3:55 pm
S – Ran straight to the bird!
L – Ran straight to the 2nd pond and got smack in the center, then got out on the far side and broke down, reoriented himself and went on up the hill and got his bird.
Randy and Ditto came to the line at 3:44 pm
S – Perfect run to this bird.
L – Great line to the 2nd pond, into the water and came out and drove straight to the bird.
Travis and Cash came to the line at 3:39 pm
S – Down the hill into the pond, up the hill and under the arc, he turned right and came back down the hill and got his bird.
L – He went left of pond 2, heads way left, but then turns hard right to be even with the guns, then in front of the guns and over to his bird.
Greg and Ice came to the line at 3:34 pm
S – Bad popper shell ... Ice came right back to the line. Ice then flew down the hill into the pond, exiting just right of the bird. Turned left to catch the scent and scoops it up!
L – Directly towards the end, but veers left to head around the water, went behind the guns and sets up a hunt deep and to the left, back to the right and to the bird.
Nik and Tag came to the line at 3:28 pm
S – Tag is off on a good line into the pond, was drawn to the left under the arc, goes up to the cedars and then turns back to the right to wind her bird.
L – Out into the left edge of pond 2, came out on line and drives directly to her bird. Excellent mark!
Paul and Bessie came to the line at 3:23 pm
S – Into the pond, squared towards the gunners, was pulled away by a decoy but stopped before she fell for that trick! Out for a loop deep of the cedars and then back to the pond area for her bird.
L – Driving towards the guns, pulled left around the pond, adjusted her line, came in under the arc and back to the bird.
Wendy and Rumor came to the line at 3:17 pm
S – Flew down the hill and into the pond with a huge splash, back out and turned deep, back to the pond and got her bird.
L – Raced up the hill, veered left away from the 2nd pond, deep of the guns, back around and came down to the trees and her bird.
Marc and Toot came to the line at 3:12 pm
S – Took a wide right down the hill, up the dam and into the far right end of the pond, out and up the hill, past the cedars, back down and to the bird.
L – Picking up speed as he goes up the far hill, he cut right after he passed the 2nd pond and came out at the bird.
Mike and Blitz came to the line at 3:09 pm
S – Into the pond, coming out under the arc, circling behind the cedars, then coming back down to the shore to grab his bird.
L – Blitz drove the field, just missing the water on the left side, up the hill with a small loop to the bird.
Bruce and Billy came to the line at 3:02 pm
S – Billy heads down the hill into the pond and sees his bird, right to it!
L – He heads towards pond 2 and jumps in the left edge, goes left of the gunners and turns right to go to his bird.
Wayne and Dutton came to the line at 2:56 pm
S – Dutton kicks off and runs down into the pond right to her bird!
L – She takes the land left of the pond, hunting deep and left first, before moving right, circles deep and then moves into the bird.
Christian and Goose came to the line at 2:50 pm
S – Down the hill into the pond, he came up under the arc and then up the hill, made a couple of passes and then back down to his bird.
L – Drives the field, hitting the water on the left side, exited the pond under the arc, gets slightly deep and then comes back down to get his bird.
Robby and Papi came to the line at 2:43 pm
S – Papi went down the hill and into the pond swimming directly to his bird. Nice mark!
L – Across the field entering the pond, he drove the hill behind the gunners, swings left and then back to the right. Comes back down to his bird.
Wayne and Hannah came to the line at 2:39 pm
S – Drove the field, a big splash, out by the guns up between the trees, worked her way back to the bird.
L – Drove towards the 2nd pond, skimmed on the left, went left of the guns, deep and turned back right, came in and to the bird.
Marc and Ravi came to the line at 2:34 pm
S – Down the field, a mighty leap into the pond! Out deep and around the cedars, back to the shore and the bird.
L – Drove the field, started cutting right in front of the guns, came straight back to his bird.
Stan and Lily came to the line at 2:30 pm
S – Down across the road, jumped in, out on the far side, quickly back 2 steps to the bird!
L – Drove the hill, hooked the guns, circled deep and back to the bird.
Paul and Mookie came to the line at 2:24 pm
S – Straight to the bird!
L – Down into the 1st pond, might have been looking at a decoy, when he got out and circled the cedars. Handler asked for the guns to help. Pick-up.
Sharon and Moon came to the line at 2:17 pm
S – To the shore by the guns, quickly got his bird.
L – Down the field, up the far side, through the left side of the pond, angled right going out, passed it on the left, then a quick turn back to his bird.
Test Dogs:
Test 7 – Water Double
This will be a Water Double in the "Derby Field." The mat is on a mound facing south. The field runs down to a gravel road, then starts to rise on the far side. There is a pond as the hill starts to rise. Just on the far side is a cluster of cedars. To the left and a little fart her up the hill is a 2nd small pond. Progressing further up the hill close to the top is Gun Station #1.
The Bird #1 Gun Station is located 320 yards from the mat. This hen mallard is thrown right landing at the base of a clump of trees. The line to this bird takes the dog down the hill, across the road, up through pond 2 and continues up the hill to the bird. (We will refer to this mark as L for Long)
The Bird #2 Gun Station is located behind the lowest pond. These guns sit 196 yards from the mat. They are located in front of a group of cedars on the back side of the water they shoot then throw a hen mallard to the right towards a tree line. This bird lands behind the shore line. (We will refer to this mark as S for Short)

Conditions have changed somewhat, as the wind gusts have picked up significantly. The winds are gusting hard on the flyer guns and the dogs at about 25-30 mph. now, making their tasks a bit more challenging.

LL – Low in front of the guns, a loop at the fall area to the trees and then back in for the bird.

The weather this morning is about 54 degrees, the wind is gusting up to 20 mph out of the west. The mat is facing southwest, so the wind is coming right at the competitors.
Test Dogs:
Test 6 is a Land Double with a Flyer
This morning we are at the "Dam Field" for this series. This will be a Land Double with dead hen pheasants. The mat is on a hill on the north side facing south. The field is bordered on the left by a long dam and on the right by a tree line. The mat is close to the North end of the dam. The field is almost shaped like a bowl.
Bird #1's gun station is located 227 yards from the mat. These gunners are just deep of a large cluster of evergreens. They will shoot, then throw the hen pheasant to the left landing on top of a terrace that runs left to right across the end of the field. (We will refer to this mark as LL for Long Left)
Bird #2 is the hen pheasant flyer station. These gunners are closer to the middle of the field. Their station is 167 yards from the mat. They will throw then shoot to the right towards the tree line. The bird will be thrown towards a small grouping of 3 or 4 bushes. (We will refer to this mark as F for Flyer)
This test is taking approximately 3-5 minutes per dog to complete.

LL – Across the field into the pond, over the right end of the point, out on the far side, ran all the way from the 1st pond to his bird!
